Design and print
Everything with your name on it.
Signage, vehicle graphics, banners, posters, stationery and the rest. Designed to match the website, and printed and delivered rather than handed to you as a file and a problem.
What we do
What we can produce
Design and print are handled together, so what turns up matches what you approved.
-
Signage
Shop fascias, site boards, yard signs, directional signs. Designed to be read at the distance and speed people will actually read them. A sign that only works when you are standing still in front of it is not doing its job.
-
Vehicle graphics
The most cost-effective advertising most trades will ever buy. Set up for the shape of the vehicle, with the phone number big enough to read from the car behind at a junction.
-
Banners and display
Outdoor banners, pull-up stands, event and exhibition graphics. Printed on material suited to how long it needs to survive.
-
Posters and point of sale
For shops, pubs, salons and anywhere a customer is already standing in front of you.
-
Stationery
Letterheads, compliment slips, invoices, forms, appointment cards. Unfashionable and still needed.
-
Branded items
Workwear, mugs, pens, the rest of it. Worth doing when it is genuinely useful to whoever receives it, and a waste of money when it is not.
Detail
Why we do the printing as well
Handing a client a PDF and wishing them luck is where most design projects go wrong. Artwork that is perfect on screen can come back the wrong colour, the wrong size, cropped, or on material that will not last a winter, and by then it is five hundred copies too late.
So we set the artwork up for the process it is actually going to be printed by, check the proof, and deal with the printer. You approve a design and take delivery of the thing.
It also keeps everything consistent. The colour on your van, your sign, your cards and your website should be the same colour. That sounds obvious and is very commonly not the case, usually because five different suppliers each got sent a slightly different file over five years.
If you already have a printer you like, that is fine. We will supply artwork to their specification and stay out of it.
What it costs
Everything here is quoted per job. The variables are size, quantity, material and finish, and they change the price far more than the design does. Tell us what you need and where it is going, and you will get a price for design and a price for production, itemised so you can see both.
FAQs
Questions about design and print
Do you do the fitting for signage and vehicles?
Production and supply, yes. Fitting is done by installers who do it every day, arranged as part of the job. We would rather bring in someone good than pretend it is our trade.
Can you work from my existing artwork?
Yes, if it is usable. If all that exists is a small image pulled off a website, it will need redrawing first, and we will tell you that up front.
Do I need all of this?
Almost certainly not. Work out where your customers actually see you. For a trade that is usually the van, the site board and the website; for a shop it is the fascia and the window. Spend there and ignore the rest.
Can you match colours across everything?
Yes, and it is worth insisting on. We keep the exact colour references and use them everywhere, so your sign and your website are genuinely the same blue.
