We are actually in Malton
Malnor is based here, in a town that has spent the last decade turning itself into Yorkshire's food capital and is now trying to do the same for everything else. There are a lot of good, small, stubbornly independent businesses in Ryedale, and a fair few of them have a website that undersells them.
Being local is not a sales pitch on its own. Plenty of work gets done over email and it makes no difference where anyone is sitting. What it does mean is that we know the difference between Norton and Malton, we have heard of Kirkbymoorside, and if it is genuinely easier to sit down with the website in front of you, we can.

The questions we get asked most
How much does a website actually cost?
Up to five pages is £400. Up to ten is £800. Anything that needs to do a job beyond explaining the business, such as a searchable stock list, bookings or a system plugged in, starts at £1,200 and gets quoted properly before you commit. Those are the real numbers, not a starting point that grows.
How long does it take?
Typically around one week from the deposit to going live. That assumes we can get hold of you when we need a decision and that you can look over the draft within a day or two. If you go quiet for a fortnight, so does the timeline. It is a typical, not a guarantee.
Do I have to write the content?
No. That is the part most people dread and it is included. We ask you about the business, then write the pages. You read them and tell us where we have got a fact wrong or made something sound unlike you, and we fix it.
Will I own the website?
Yes, once the final payment is made. We also register the domain in your name rather than ours, so nothing is being held over you.
Will it get me to the top of Google?
Nobody can honestly promise you a position, and anyone who does is either guessing or lying. What we can do is build the site so search engines can crawl it, read it and work out what you do and where you do it: proper page titles, sensible structure, real content, fast loading. That is the part that is in anyone's control.
Can I update it myself afterwards?
Yes. It is built on WordPress and we show you how to change text, swap an image and add a page. If you would rather not, small changes are part of the £29 a month care plan.
What if I already have a website?
That is most of our work. We will look at what you have, keep whatever is worth keeping, and be straight with you if the honest answer is that it only needs tidying up rather than replacing.
